In 1998, we launched BPM Day (Because People Matter Day), our employee community volunteer program. On BPM Day, we shut down all six of our offices and send our staff out to volunteer at multiple sites around the Bay Area. On BPM Day, our staff has performed a variety of tasks from painting, cleaning and maintenance to habitat restoration and teaching lessons to classrooms of students to building sets for a local community theater. 

On Friday, May 15, 2009 we closed our offices for a full day and our entire staff volunteered at nine community locations around the San Francisco Bay Area. Our beneficiaries this year were:
