Staff Involvement
Burr, Pilger & Mayer encourages all employees, from staff to partners, to become involved as community volunteers. We have adopted three local elementary schools where our staff members read to the students, write to “fax pals,” judge essay contests, and more.
BPM Day, hosted annually by the firm, helps to raise employee awareness as to some of the volunteer opportunities available to them throughout the surrounding communities. Many of our employees have become regular volunteers at past years' BPM Day locations.
Additionally, staff members have participated in numerous benefit sports exhibitions, answered phones in a local television pledge drive, and organized gift drives for the underprivileged. BPM is a regular participant in the Jr. Achievement Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser.
