Our commitment to the community we are a part of is best summarized in our motto Because People Matter. In 1993, we founded the Burr, Pilger & Mayer Foundation to give to local charities within our community. Our partners serve on a variety of charitable boards and hold other local leadership positions, and our staff members are active in many local community organizations. In addition, each year our firm closes its doors for one full day to give employees the opportunities to participate in volunteer service, aptly named Because People Matter, or BPM Day.
